Variety of games in one place,& it makes a beautiful coffee table conversation piece. My husband and I plan to make good use of this Game board, during the evening esp. wintertime.

This is a lovely heavily weighted set made of pleasing colors and nicely styled Staunton pieces. I was disappointed that two extra Queens were not part of the set and I was unable to find out if I could buy two Queens separately. I have also noticed that the Knights appear to be too big in relation to the other pieces. The Knights are bigger than the Rooks and look out of place on the board. The set is durable, I have dropped pieces on hard surfaces and the pieces showed no damage. I recommend this set but take into consideration my comments regarding extra Queens and huge Knights.

I useproduct to solve chess problems and to learn the game. The pieces are pleasant to move. Perhaps the "board" itself could be a little heavier, but I am not complaining. It stays in place and is fine for my purpose.

Have wanted a Civil War Chess Set for years. Finally found one I liked but some of the pieces were broken. I looked at other Civil War sets but really liked the construction of the original set, made by Cambor. Took me awhile to locate one exactly like the original. Hope to enjoy my new Cambor setfor many years to come.
